Thank you, House District 51 constituents, for reelecting me as your State Representative. I am honored to represent you. Our district had the highest total voter turnout of any State House race in Davidson County and the highest of any Democratic incumbent in Tennessee. Serving you is my greatest joy: I carry your stories with me daily, guiding my work and fueling my commitment to care loudly for your issues. I also want to congratulate Shaundelle Brooks and Gabby Salinas on their victories. I’m thrilled to have two strong, inspiring women joining the 114th General Assembly with us next January.
Last week, we announced that we’re hosting a second annual GRL POWER event. We’ve decided to postpone to give folks time to grieve, process, and rest ahead of a potentially volatile legislative year. We’ll keep you posted on the date, but we hope it will occur right before the session starts next January.
